Pico Slice 2 | Stopwatch

7-Segment displays are everywhere e.g. microwaves, stoves, alarm clocks, portable radios, and more! Displays like this one rely on the persistence of vision. Because of the way it's wired, you can only ever have 1 digit lit up at a time, so you have to cycle through them all really quickly to make it appears as if they're all on simultaneously. It sounds inconvenient but tricks like this let us control lots of LEDs with just a few I/O pins! With the piezo buzzer for outputting sounds and the buttons for inputs, there are a whole lot of interesting things that can be built with this Pico Slice e.g. alarm clock, stopwatch, reaction timer, and more!
